In an era before the concept of time existed, humans began their activities with the sun rising and slept when the stars appeared. They felt the seasons through the rebirth and decay of trees. Time was defined by the perception of the subject — the time of a cloud, the time of a star, the time of a tree, the time of a person. For humans who can only perceive time linearly, perhaps time is merely countless sliced moments — an illusion.
What if we could "see" time from another dimension? This installation art space, constructed from plants and a giant circular translucent acrylic disc, explores that question. The plants, deconstructed and reassembled after being sliced by the acrylic fluorescent panels symbolizing solar halos, are suspended in the air. They influence and flow with one another, allowing the viewer to feel themselves as both actor and audience - to see time. This is our third collaboration with Ran Ran (MURE_FLOWER), the amazing plant artist.
